This is significant in today's society as these print platforms are slowly losing their value, so to see a magazine such as the "The New Yorker" gain recognition for its reliable and detailed investigations, just goes to show that not all journalists for the print platform are being affected by the increase of new digital media. The article also suggests that talk shows are a common news source that people can rely on as they go through the process of editing, whereas articles online can be posted by anyone.
